Para tener acceso web a los contenidos de los cursos y que mis estudiantes puedan subir foticos, tener un foro, voy a colocar los contenidos en la HiperGalaxia (http://www.hipergalaxia.org) el cual tiene instalado un Moodle. Al final del curso los contenidos van a estar disponibles en una licencia Creative Commons, como tambien una copia del curso para Moodle.
To have web access to the course contents and let my students upload images, have a forum, I will put the course contents in the HiperGalaxia (http://www.hipergalaxia.org) which has installed Moodle. At the end of the course content will be available in a Creative Commons license, as well as a copy of the course for Moodle.

Acabo de terminar el libro sobre la conferencia de Introduccion a los Mundos Virtuales. Subi algunas imagenes para el lomo y la contraportada del libro, tambien lo coloque en mi tienda en onrez.
Me gusto esto de publicar libritos en Second Life
I just finished the book about the Introduction to the virtual worlds conference. I upload some pictures for the back and the spine of the book, also put it in my shop onrez.

Una de las cosas que pienso que siempre debe acompañar a cualquier curso son las guías para el estudiante y el profesor, así que me puse a buscar en Second Life una herramienta que me permitiera crearlas. Después de buscar un poco me encontré con THiNC Book, el cual permite crear un libro con imágenes previamente cargadas, que incluyen la portada, la contraportada, el lomo y el contenido como tal. Para crear un libro se debe comprar un ejemplar vació que cuesta $L 75 ($CO 487) y adicionar las imágenes que conformaran las paginas del libro, desafortunadamente el libro no se puede vender directamente, si no que es necesario una imprenta que permita copiar los libros o venderlos la cual tiene un costo de $L 875 ($CO 5670)
Esta herramienta queda en la lista de herramientas por evaluar y posiblemente entre en la lista de posibles herramientas a desarrollar, por el momento tratare de crear un libro con la información acerca de la conferencia acerca de mundos virtuales.
